i've read about lucid dreaming just recently and I was totally engulfed by the "beauty" of it(infinite posibilities ). They say that the dream world when your lucid and at the REM period looks pretty similar to reality. Actually at this one I want to confirm it. Does it really look like "reality"? the 3D world?

there also different types of dream state. can one only lucid at the REM stage?

and also. will ones subconscious "copy/act" your hobby when dreaming? ive been experimenting some things. in the movie "inception" they had the so called "reality check" so i tried to create a "hobby" which i label on my mind a "dreaming check". though dont if it'll work. just want your feedbacks on it if you may.
