Hi Lucid Dreamers

Background:
I have been practicing lucid dreaming for the past 3 years. I have read pretty much all the famous LD material and practiced all of the techneques at least once. I have been keeping a dream journal since 2009. I do know I dream every night, I just don't rember much. But I have had only 5 lucid dreams.

Question 1:
I feel I am to worried or to aware while trying to lucid dream that I block myself. It's like I over think it? Could this be why it is taking me so long to achieve regular lucid dreams?

Question 2:
I have mild dyslexia, and my dream recall as well as long term memory is not very good; Could this cause my lack of regular success?
