Hello, I have been slacking on my lucid dreaming. Needless to say I always come back full fledged and ready to go. I notice that my WBTB WILDS are really slacking normally fail. My method now is to set 2 alarms in the middle of the night, get up go pee, attempt to wild. These 100% of the time end up having me just fall back asleep. I want to try something new. I am sure this has already been posted and this is not new, but I want to share my experiment with you all anyway. I will post my technique and my lucid or near lucid dreams I get.
The technqiue:
- Wake up after ~6 hours of sleep
- Get up, make breakfast
- Play with the dog, get an early start on work
- After about 1 or 2 hours get back into bed and read until super tired
- Relax in bed until you feel your body wanting to fall asleep
- Do whatever WILD technique you want
Details:
After my five or so years of lucid dreaming these little details are what have helped me in the past
- Don't try to not move your body. If you want to move then move. Your body will get into SP much faster when you are comfortable then when you are not
- Don't worry about falling asleep. This can cause stress and keep you up. Just relax and go with it. If you fall asleep great, if not that's ok too.
- I don't try any one technique. All these seem to make me focus too much. I just try to stay present enough to be conscious of the transition
I will be doing this every day and am super excited to start lucid dreaming constantly again I hope you can all get something from this. If you have any questions please ask or even join in
