Question >The parachute System aka The endless WBTB <

      Hey Guys,

there is a little Sytem that works for me ^^.
It sounds very complex and difficulty but it's total easy. Maybe something like this already exist.

      1) So first and the hardest part of this technique :
You have to wake up after each Non Lucid Dream. Maybe you come in this state with affirmations like "I will be wake up after a normal dream".
After a few days/weeks you should wake up after each dream with non lucid contents .

      2) After waking up of a dream (Non Lucid) you can make a technique that you want to do e.g WILD or self hypnosis , DEILD . . .

      3) Now there are 2 possible opinions:

Opinion 1 : You are Lucid ! Yeah

Opinion 2: Non Lucid Dream and you wake up and begin with step 2 again.

So you have trys enough to become Lucid ^^, because the parachute always stop you to be non lucid and it will also stop you wasting your time with Non Lucid's.

So heres a little list that shows the pro and cons of this technique:

      pro:
*chance of Lucid Dreams increase massive
*No Non Lucid Dreams (instead you will wake up)
*you don't need an Alarm Clock

      cons:
*if you train very much and you really wake up after each non lucid Dream and you won't wake up in future this can be difficulty to unlearn.
*No Non Lucids Dream (It sounds crazy but Non Lucid Dreams can be very interesting too.

Sorry for my weird English, I'm germa

Sounds nice but I don't understand step 2. What do you mean with "you can make a technique that you want to do". Like what? :S

I think Marc27 means that that is the point where you can try WILD, DEILD etc. or whichever method you want to do

I do believe that this is called the Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream, or DEILD. The idea is that as you fade out of a dream, you become aware and stay aware as a new dream forms.

So, you mean you just keep on waking up after the non lucid dreams, then WILD/DEILD/MILD every time, so you always have another chance to LD?

I think marc277 means that if find yourself waking up, you know that you came from a dream. Repeating this exercise will make you alert. At some point in a dream you might remember that you just went to bed so you'll check if you just woke up. if you're not in your bed, means you're lucid.

At least that's what I understood. It's a good method, but don't think it would work too good for false awakenings

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.

Yes after wake up make WILD , DEILD ,FEILD . . .

This isn't DEILD because you can make any technique after wake up.
So you have more chances to become lucid thats why after an unsuccesfull try you can start another try

"To Make" and "To Do" is a common German-English error because the German verb "to do" is machen. When a natural German speaker uses "make" in a strange context they almost always mean "do".

Wild guess: You don't fall in a fast way. (means you don't wake up in the morning and realize you did nothing)
You fall sloooowly, try to do something on each awakening.

Lol there isn't really a parachute
The parachute prevent you to fall into a Non Lucid Dream. Instead of sleep and wake up without a lucid Dream in the morning you have the Chance to become lucid after each Non Lucid Dream.

This is the simple power of auto suggestion. Autosuggestion has gotten me over many humps while learning to fluently lucid dream. I use this technique to wake up after each dream to perform a WILD or DEILD. You can actually use autosuggestion for many things. Being: waking up after dreams, remembering dreams (dream recall), remembering that you are dreaming and to perform a reality check. It is actually the basis to the MILD technique.
