      yet another RC thread.

I came up with an idea for an RC, and it even worked for me once before in a dream (soon after that, I stopped, I'm not sure why) anyway, what you want to do is imagine writing or manipulating text on anything, anything at all. Close your eyes, and focus on what it is you want to write on (in your mind) and then imagine that your writing on whatever your focused on.

If I wasn't clear enough, or if this is confusing, let me know.

and lately, I've been kind of doubting this RC , I'm not sure why, but, what do you guys think, is it good?

Hmm, you mean that if you write on something you're testing to see if the text is weird and then you'll see if you're deraming or not? You don't want a RC in which you need something to perform it. Also the RC itself isn't the important thing, it's the mindset, the awareness. I'd rather go with the poke finger through hand, nose plug or count fingers RC.

I think the only bad thing about this reality check is if you are indeed in a dream, you might wake yourself up due to closing your eyes. Like Matte suggested, I'd rather the nose plug, etc.

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

No…I what mean is to imagine writing on anything —using your mind (mind's eye?)— to see if it appears.

Does that help make it more understandable?

It could work.. different things work for different people. Like Matte said, it's always better to have a dependable RC that doesn't require props. Or like Forceez said, closing one's eyes might cause one to lose lucidity. But if it works for you, then great! I know I'm always having dreams where text, or a clock, or musical scores, or anything with writing gets all jumbled up and sparks lucidity for me.
