      Dreaming about my partner

      Hi guys,

I've just stumbled across this forum after doing some research. Two nights ago I had a really strange experience. I was in a dream with my partner & had seemingly full control over the whole thing for ages. Hard to explain & im not sure what triggered it. I was just thinking about her (as I do every night) and then without even realizing Id fallen asleep I was talking to her. All I really want to know is how to do this again (time & patients, I know) just need a solid starting point. I really want it as an every night thing. I don't need giant cup cakes or killer snails, just her. Is that possible?

I never had any idea you could control dreams. Really looking foward to learning.

      Thanks

Well if you become lucid then you can control the dream however you want, so yeah if you want to spend the dream with your partner you can, it may take awhile to gain the ability to control it how you want though.

Yes as Arch stated, in your dreams anything is possible because everything is in your control. With the proper dream control and enough experience you can turn your dreams into whatever you like. Pick a technique and start practicing stay with it and you will start to see results. Yes time and patience is key, but more importantly, persistence.

Lol! Do you usually dream about giant cup cakes and killer snails? That's awesome.

      Hey JB85,

If you're really interested in starting to learn how to lucid dream, here's a fantastic page with articles written by other members on this site: http://www.dreamviews.com/f109/

There's articles with definitions and explanations about various terms and topics, plus tutorials on specific lucid dream induction techniques. I recommend WILD or DEILD for you, since you mentioned that you slipped into the dream without ever losing consciousness.

Good luck and let me know if you ever need help or have questions!
