      Need help on dream signs

Ok, um I was wondering how people get lucid so easily. I never became lucid because of a dream sign. I just figure out that I'm in a dream the second I enter it. I'm not gonna do wilds for a while. Hypnagogic imagry is too scary for now. Also in my first wild I was killed in like 6 seconds by a shuriken thrower, causing me to wake up. So anyway do I just need to do a ton more RCs? Or is there more ways.

Firstly, when you have a lucid dream you are in complete control. Ergo, you will not be 'killed'. What you had was a vivid dream whilst attempting a WILD. There are many ways to train yourself to be luicd in a dream. I use visualization with progressive muscle relaxation. Try some new methods. Good luck to you!

Yeah it was kinda hard to explain. I guess I wasn't lucid. I thought it was part of HI because I could feel my real body and the body I was in while dreaming. My eyes were closed before the dream too, so I guess it was a wake induced dream WID

Well I find there are two different types of dreamers, you like me dream randomly and dream about all sorts of crazy stuff, this makes it hard to find a consistent dream sign and therefore it's probably not the best technique to use. The other sort of dreamer dreams more realistically based on their real life, so they go about doing ordinary stuff (my mum does this! goes shopping and stuff) and those kind of dreams can be much easier to pick out what's different.

For example last night I was battling this massive ass monster with a turret, personally (expecially as I don't know I'm dreaming) I don't want to take out a minute to see if it's real and get ripped apart, so it can be difficult with those kind of dreams.

I hope this answers your question.

(Also it wasn't a WILD, with WILDs you enter straight into the dream from being awake... so you lay down and cross over, that kinda thing).
