My idea occurred when I was about to go to bed. In MILD you use a mantra that you speak or think over and over again. You very well know your own voice so I'm wondering this.. If you got into a deep relaxation point while getting back to bed or going to bed and you had a recording of yourself, speaking the mantra (in headphones) over and over again (for however a long) would your chances increase in fufilling your mantras demands? Almost like hypnosis but I feel your own voice would increase the odds. |

I think it would work. Especially with LDing, this would work as an EILD |
|
Hmmm I should make a recording of it and try it. Though I'd hate to mess up my progression with MILD when I've been doing amazing lol. |

Thanks But recording and listening to it doesn't necessarily mess up your MILD right? You can still do autosuggestion before going to bed (preferebly before putting your headphones on ), and it's still possible to WBTB-MILD. Good luck though! Please be sure to post back the results |
|
So I have to ask do you think autosuggestion would be helpful before I generally went to bed along with when I WBTB? |

I've actually tried this before. Ive had mostly bad results. Doesn't work for me anyway |

I'm always happy.
Yeah, I've heard of people attempting to use binaural (sp) beats? In some sense having the sound in your ears would do the same thing, yet the beats are frequencies or something like that. |

When you hear yourself on the phone, in recordings, etc. don't you sound different? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere we don't hear ourselves correctly when we talk, but I could be wrong. The point I'm making is that we may not recognize the recording as our own voice subconsciously if we do happen to sound different. I'm not really sure though. |
|
It's true that you hear yourself different, but even if the voice is someone else's, it can still work as EILD. |
|
I'm a musician and so I'm pretty good about recognizing my own voice, in particular with my recordings, so I should try this sometime tonight. |

Never tried this. But like every other idea, this would probably work for some people and be no where close for others. Interesting idea though :3 going to give it a try. Thanks! |
