Am I dreaming or those are just thoughts ?

Hello DreamViews community! Hope you guys having a great day so far
Here is my question : Am I dreaming or those are just thoughts ?

I've been waking at the end of each REM cycles. I like feel when I'm waking up, and I'm keeping my eyes closed. [DEILD Technique I think] and that is boosting alot my dreams recall. What I need to know is that, after I woke up, I sleep back and I'm having little dreams or thoughts. I know this is really bad explained but I don't know how to explain it ... Well, am I dreaming or those are just thoughts ?

If you don't understand and want to help me further, drop me a PM. It could be helpful for me..!
Thank you for your time and of course, sweet dreams

I think I know what you mean, sometimes when I'm lying in bed after having woken up trying to remember my previous dream/putting off getting up for a few more minutes in my warm bed, I drift into scenes too vivid to be mere thoughts, but not quite vivid enough to be full dreams. I'd say it's some intermediate stage between waking and dreaming, and if you were to fall back to sleep, it would probably turn into a dream, just like a DEILD.

Yeah that's exactly what I meant!
I see, I see. Atleast each night when I woke up, I get into atleast 2 or 3 vivid scenes ( not full dreams ). Can I count them as dreams and actually write them on my dream journal or I should not ?
Thanks a lot mate! Appreciate it!
& Thank you haha, Tupac is my idol

Definitely write them in your journal! It will give you greater awareness of what's a dream and what isn't, and they're more like to be self-induced scenes if they stem from your own conscious thoughts.
