What is the fastest, easiest way to become lucid?

In my 13 years, ive had 1 lucid dream (yesterday afternoon, I used WILD) I tried to do it again today but it just wouldn't work, I don't think I was tired enough. Tonight I'm going to do the thing were you listen to a certain thing before bed and it makes you think of lucid dreams during a dream. But, what are the easiest and fastest ways to have a lucid dream? Next dream I have, i will start my dream journal. And I'm setting my wallpaper as 'Am I dreaming?' Thankss!!(:

      Fastest: WILD/DEILD
Easiest: DILD for beginners though it's different for everyone.

As for a combination of easiest and fastest I would say DEILD. If you can train yourself to recognize when a dream is ending then you can just slip into another one fully aware after it ends. Just remember that the best induction technique is different for everybody but generally any form of WILD is more reliable than any form of DILD.

Choose which technique you like and be loyal to it, but don't overdo it. With time you should get better at it if your doing it right. Personally, I like WILD for their quality and controlability (is that even a word?) to have them, and you don't have to do all that dream journaling shit. You don't have to do a dream journal if you do WILD it isn't that important.

From what you said I would advise you go with WILD from the start. You have already done better than 90% of people who ever tried it. Just wondering...what technique did you use, and how long did it take you to get it from the first time you tried?

Lol thanks! But to answer your question, I don't know it there's a specific name for what I did all I know it falls under the category of WILD. I got home from my friends house and I was exausted and felt sick, so I lied down in my bed. I was on my phone checking my messages when i decided to google how to lucid dream for no reason. I saw the thing I used on yahoo answers. Well basically I just layed on my back with my arms crossed, closed my eyes, and said in my head 'One. I will have a dream. Two. I will have a dream. Three. I will have a dream.' until I reached the 90's. Then I fell asleep and I was in my first lucid dream. I had terrible control though.
