      Milk works...

So I hear that milk and dairy products make dreams more vivid and thus help with lucidity.

On satarday evening I had I glass of milk before bed, and that night I had and LD... last night I did that same, and although I didn't become lucid, the dream I had felt so real it was untrue, I've never had a vivid dream like that for months...

I've been toying with the idea of trying B6, but I think milk is working fine on me!

How much milk do you need to drink for it to have an effect?
Which leads to the ultimate question:
What would happen if one were eating hot soup with a potential spoon while sitting on a non-existent fence?

Milk- Blech...I wonder if fortified soy milk would work.

you probablly only need to drink as much as will trick your mind into thinking it will work. either that or it really works, or both.

if u dont like the taste of milk than u need to buy organic valley milk and organic chacolate milk also. the best milk on earth and its actually good for u. its not like regular milk that suddonly tastes different from the FDA taking out all that is good for the body in milk so u can be unhealthy and get just sick enough to be on their drugs all day for the rest of your life. FACT.

the STRONG power of suggestion is also used by the FDA to spew drug side effects and symptoms into your mind during the day on the TV while they supposedly market drugs to nondoctors. sooner or later it will happen to you. MUTE ALL COMMERCIALS if u still MUST watch TV.

ill give the organic milk a try tonight before bed.

I'm wondering if it is a psycological effect like you said, maybe thinking the milk works is why it does work.

Either way, I'm out of practace for lucidity, but I did have some major dreaming last night, slept in for two hours, I just kept closing my eyes when i woke up, and the dreams just kept comming.

I'm really tempted to try some b6 just to see how effective it is.

i know it works...well, at least i think it does....i just ran across this thread today, as well as another one called "cheese". I read it because i just remembered more dreams than i ever had in one night. 5 dreams in about 6 hours. I was wondering why this happened, but after reading these threads, it had to have been because i had a stick of string cheese right before i went to bed. it makes perfect sense now. i'm doing this every night now...make that two sticks!....followed by a glass of milk

There is an excellent type of milk available in the UK called 'Night Time Milk" its an interesting milk because its really high in melatonin due to the fact the cows were milked at night.

I use this before sleep and it works wonders.

      Now THAT'S cool!

P.S. Dairy in general before bed does seem to increase my dream vividness.

I recommend yoghurt for WBTB. It's quick and easy and won't fill your bladder.

A big bag of walkers spare rib flavoured crisps saturated in msg has been the best for vividness and recall I can find.

I haven't tried milk...will have to give it a go

Interestingly: cheese contains alot of natural msg. As does mushrooms and ripe tomatoes.

I woke up at 5am this morning and thought why not drink some milk and see what happens?

I drank a cup and went back to bed. After laying there for what seemed like FOREVER I had one of the most disturbing dreams
I think I've ever had (in part it involved my cutting and eating slices of my dog until she turned her head and looked at me).
