how do you put a timer on a mp3 player?

Ive been trying to use a mp3 player to induce lucid dreaming last night i just listened to the audio message for lucid draming on my mp3. All it did is probably just increase my recall which i am thank full for

but i need to know how to make it go on while your asleep. Like a timer or something? do i have to hook it up to something?

Check to see if your mp3 player has an alarm feature

OR

Maybe you could try creating an mp3 file with 1 or 2 hours of silence, then when it is done playing, it will advance to the next file which would be your dreaming mp3.

OR

Hardware stores have timers that you can buy where you plug them into the wall and then plug your device (mp3) player into. You set the on and off time accordingly. However, I don't think it's possible to leave an mp3 player in the "on" position so when the power gets to the player it starts to play automatically.

Look up a WinAmp pluggin called "Clock Amp". I use it as an alarm clock in the morning, which means you can use it as an induction mp3 timer for whenever you want it.
