Naturally Wake Up at Night Motionless with Eyes Closed (DIELD)

So ive been attempting WILDs and havent had much luck. I only had one lucid dream and that was a DILD where i dont even remember how i realized i was dreaming but it just happened. Wasnt that clear but im working on reality checks throughout the day and my dream journal.
But every so often i wake up in the middle of night or should i say morning, and i realize i just woke up but i remember not to move or open my eyes. From my research, the best idea would be to try a DIELD or wait a couple minutes and sleep paralysis will set in for a WILD real quick. I could of sworn laying on my bed for 10-15 minutes and nothing happened. I will keep trying WILD but how easy is it to DIELD in this case. And for the WILDers out there, how important is feeling a falling sensation when your attempting WILD. It seems most turtorials dont include it but some very credible sources do.

Hmm you mean DEILD right? Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream if not please explain what a DIELD is.

Sometimes you woke up in the middle of the dream, so in the middle of REM. In this case it is easy to DEILD you just lay still for 10 seconds and BAM your there.
But it's also possible to wake up after the REM. You always do actually, you just don't remember it, this is called a Micro Awakening and according to current science it's impossible to DEILD here.
I disagree it's hard but not impossible, although you should know that if you can't DEILD this can be the case.

And the falling sensation? I have never even felt it, I usually feel a pulling sensations (pulling me into a daydream/ dream). So it's different for everyone.

And while practicing Direct entry into dreams or WILD/ DEILD techniques don't look for sleep paralysis, look for changes in your awareness, this will also help you DILD easier. Because you can "feel" your awareness and it works like an automatic reality check.

I hope this helped! Good luck!
