      How can i Naturally Wake?

Hey guys, its been a while since i posted a thread asking for help with my lucid dreaming, ok well my problem is that i have huge sucess with induction techniques when i wake naturally during the night however that is rare and whenever i set my alarm clock i am simply too aware due to the shock of waking and having to turn off my alarm.

I have recently been going to bed and telling myself that i will be aware and consious when waking after every dream. But so far it doesn't seem to be working, i was wondering if anyone could suggest a sucessful method in which i could wake myself naturally? I am trying to build it so i can sucessfully attempt techniques, thanks for any help.

That's rough, I also find that I only naturally wake occassionally through the night, if at all. Do you have a watch alarm? Say one that goes for 30 seconds and then stops so it doesn't bring you to total awareness, but enough to perform an induction technique? I know it's not exactly natural, but it may help you to wake. If you are against this idea, I would reccomend imagining yourself waking up. this is just my bit, but I would say, lay in bed, look at the clcok, and think of the approximate time you want to wake, and tell yourself you will wake then. This seems to work for me if I want to wake, within a half hour or so...I would try less "rough" alarms, perhaps you can sleep with headphones in on your mp3 player, and pre-record a gentle "song" where you or anyone says in a quite voice "Time to wake"..."time to lucid dream", you can try yourself, but a subtle voice telling you to wake or a quiet alarm may be of service to you. If you are keen on doing it naturally, if you beleive you can do it, I am sure you can. Again , lay there and imagine waking, there's no question it can be done

However I do reccomend more quiet alarms...Good luck mate

I've heard people suggest drinking a lot of water before bed so you have to get up to use the bathroom...

      Thanks guys for the replies!!

bro, i think that a quieter alarm would not work for me, i tried my mp3 but my headphones always fall out when sleeping so i'm not sure if it would work, but i think your right about a calmer wake up approach, i will experiment and see what works best, thankyou!

Mes, i will try that tonight since it seems most sucessful for me hopefully, but sometimes i will sleep so deeply that i wake up and literally burst into the bathroom regardless to who is in there in the morning and fill the toilet to the brim haha! Thanks for the advice guys though, i will try the water one tonight and bro i will maybe try using tape to stick my headphones to my ears

I saw it nearing 1000 so i decided to just get to about 1000 tonight, i wouldn't see it as a race, but you make it so competative Mes hehe, mind you i will be away from DV for two weeks, unless i can build a computer whilst in america, oh boy, i'll come back and you'll have more posts than Seeker lol, ah well. But at least i'm posting decent stuff instead of "Yeah" or "I agree" or "WTF man?!?!"

Wow this is off topic a bit, erm, yeah, i will drink plenty of water
