Its usually a good idea to wake up from sleep and stay up for about an hour, try to go back to sleep performing a WILD etc. I typically get excellent dream recall from doing this. Sound very much like the beginnings of the WILD attempt to me mate, but I’m sure someone can give you more/better advice as I’ve not fully become aware I’m dreaming through the use of the WILD technique....Irishcream would be an excellent person to answer your question, I think she performs the WILD technique before sleep.
I’ve managed to get to the numbness stage but never got past that part when my body feels like its going backwards and forwards at the same time, like a jerking motion through my body and mind. I guess that’s the edge of sleep and dreams.....
