Self-Hypnosis to induce LD - Anyone?

I've been doing a lot of reading on self-hypnosis lately and I'm thinking of doing a recording today and listening to it later on. Maybe not before bed, but at some point during the day.

Hopefully "the power of suggestion" will help me tonight.

I'm also going to continue using mantras before falling asleep.

Anyone have any experience with hypnosis/meditating?
I find that I have better results with dream recall when I meditate that day.

There's a name of a DV member - and I can't remember it for the life of me - but he seems to have tried every experiment imaginable to attain lucidity. I know he experimented with hypnosis with zero results. Hope he's still active and can tell you about his experiments.
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

What's with the anger thing? Have I misunderstood?

I've had a go at self hypnosis in the past. I really quite enjoy it at the time as I stop feeling my body which is a kinda cool sensation! I think that it did produce some good results but I'm not sure as I was trying others at the same time. Like just about every technique though it does vary for people, depending on how susceptible to hypnosis you are. Give it a go!

I almost exclusively use self-hypnosis using visualizations when attempting to induce a LD. Hypnosis and falling asleep are first cousins.
