      Lucid dreaming "guide"

      Ok so I promised myself to make a thread about this if I had a lucid last night, and I did so here it goes.

      I'm not enthusiastic enough to write a beautiful guide with cool fonts and sh*t but to everyone that is doing everything correctly, dild, mild, deild, wild exercises. I want you to continue everything as usual, however, try going to bed a lot earlier.

      The first night, it might be hard to fall asleep but the next night it will be easier and I don't know if it will work for you but it has worked for my everytime. Every night when I've went to bed about 2 maybe 3 hours earlier depending on schoolday or not, I've had lucid events in the nights.

      So, Go to bed when you're not tired yet
      and also, try mantras whilst trying to fall asleep

      Sleeping longer is allmost a guaranteed way to become more aware and eventually lucid because you get longer REM periods that I at least think get more vivid in each cycle (not sure though).
      Just read Stephen LaBerged original WBTB explaination. It might surprise you but just waking up after 6 hours staying up for 20 minutes is far from what Laberge suggested.
      He said that you should WBTB on the time you normally wake up in the morning, stay up for 2-3 hours eat breakfast etc. then go back to bed and perform the MILD technique.
      It's the same principle, longer REM in the later hours, but in this case it's also because of REM-rebound so perhaps it was a bad example but I hope you get it.

      But the bedtime is really important for you to get more vivid dreams that is easier to become aware, and if you have the luxury an earlier bedtime is defnitely recommended.

      Hey thanks for that info Mastermind, I never knew Laberge's WBTB was like that, despite reading EWOLD. Considering his extensive research into dreaming, his tech would probably be the ideal one

      Yeah except that I explained it wrong
      I looked it up and you are supposed to WBTB 3 hours before you normally get up and then do the MILD/ WILD attempt on the time that you usually get out of bed on.
      So the only luxury you need is a few more sleeping hours than usual and well that seems affordable
