Keep Up With Reality Checks: They Do Actually Work

I am finally doing realty checks in my dreams. Up until earlier this week, I had never done one while dreaming. Two nights in a row I tried to read text but was unable. In one scenario, I was in a department store and suspected it was a dream, so I tried to find some text to read. There were no signs or advertisements or brand logos in the entire store. I knew that it couldn't be a real store and I was dreaming. The second dream, I was reading a note from my brother. Every time I would open the note and try to read it, I would envision the scenario that my brother wrote about. After trying to read the note several times, the scenario in the note became my new dream scene and I was there with my brother. I was starting to doubt RC's for myself since I had been using them for over a month now with no results. This is encouraging to me and I hope it will be to others.

im glad that i now know reality checks work. i was afraid the whole dreamviews community was lying to me. but now i know.

People that are uncertain about reality checks etc, may find this thread useful. So a comment like this is very useless. In other words: shut up

They work for me too. I usually see 6 or 7 fingers on my left hand (why my left, I use my right hand more?) or push a finger through my left hand. I don't know why everything's the left hand, but nothing weird happens to the right hand. Strange...

Maybe because you use your right hand more, your mind is able to reconstruct it more accurately. I've been trying pushing my fingers through my hand more lately.
