Key To WILD! My sister Helped!

I was talking to my sister about SP and she sais she has SP all the time and cant fall asleep untill her body does just like nesgirl! so now me and her can talk about this stuff and noot think each of us are crazy! I know the facts and stuff and she has the experience! I have a LD/OBE/other "weird" stuff parter in RL and i thought she would think im crazy but I tryed to give it a shot and she has SP/OBE's alot. She does not like OBE's and think there creepy but Itold her there normal and natural and facts and she shared experiences.

Ok sorry for the spelling but thats not realy important I will tell you the Key that NESGIRL might not have mentioned that I have a theory that its a KEY for WILDing

Here It Is: When I try to WILD Sometimes right before/in/after vibrations I can fell myself stop breathing and im like HOLYSHIT im not breathing. So I start breathing normaly but now I know that when your in SP you cant feel yourself breathing so my sister says just to let go and not think about the breathing and youl go into SP.

SO thats it if i didint notice something and this was like on the tutorials or something than Crap its not new but if it is my sister made a breakthrought in WILD.
      Plese post any comments.

Ok its literaly 4:26 here so I wont bother spellchecking right now maby later when I get on Goodnight! dont flame me for spelling il redo it later

So... I tryed WILD today. But I was tyred to realy try it was around 4:30 so I stoped "trying" after about 3 min and even after about 30sec of "trying" I could turn off my breathing but I would still breathe So I think you dont force it but when you get where you feel yourself stop breathing than go with the flow and dont panic and start breathing again

That's awesome; I never noticed the breathing thing before. This morning I woke up and thought I'd try my stab at WILD'ing, but I only went through around seven cycles of intense vibrations without having them lead anywhere.

I think the key is to be more relaxed, I kept trying to pull myself deeper and amplifying the vibrations to force the entrance into the dream. Perhaps some relaxed breathing would help?

Keep being persistent man, I'm sure it will come.

hmmm....the same thing happened to me when I was trying to do HILD. When I was at the weight part, I could kinda feel myself start breathing a lot slower. Then my body started to feel a bit numb.

      Maybe something was going wrong....lol

That's the problem I have: The weirdest things keep happening such as vibrations, but they never actually lead anywhere.

I tried it for the first time last night, and I managed to get them, but as soon as I stopped, I was just thinking... Now what?

I wasn't in an LD or anything...

Dear God it's like the blind leading the blind in here lately.

Yes of course your breathing becomes shallow when you WILD...that's because...you are going to SLEEP!!! Your body does this everytime you sleep, it's just that now you are aware and conscious when it happens and it can freak you out when you feel like you aren't breathing right...but don't worry it's just all a part of the whole experience. Just let go of everything and go with it!!

So unless you are like a really fat person (no offense to anyone) don't worry if your breathing isn't just right when you are doing a WILD or during an LD...you are just more aware of your shallow, calmed breathing and it feels strange.

Eh don't mean to sound like everyone else on this thread but WOW. I mean it's so simple it's stupid. Of course you cant' feel yourself breathe... I've had that happen to me a fair few times but ever realised that I should just let it go... always freaked out.

So simple... but no-one has ever said it before....

The WOW part is because I have been despairing that no matter what I do, I just can't seem to get lucid again. Now I know that I was actually a lot closer than I thought.

Now I'm a lot mroe dertermined than before... awesome. LD here I come!

I've said it many times before. But those posts get buried and new ones come along asking the same damn shit. Now if only people would take a second and do a search for what it is they were looking for/having problems with before posting it would be great.

Hey sorry, didn't meant to piss you off... it probably does get a bit repetative for you seeing as you've been here a long time. When I was first trying WILD properly I went back over all the threads regarding WILD and I didn't see anything about it... it's not like I didn't bother searching for it, I just didn't know it full-stop. Can't really search for something you don't know at all...

But oh well, judging by people's posts in this thread it seems to have helped out quite a few people... as long as it helps people I don't mind if it gets repetative (within reason of course)

haha nah I'm not pissed off and I'm glad the thread has helped people, perhaps I'll have them edit some of this into the WILD tutorial or something

That would be a good idea, actually. The tutorial focuses a lot on the preliminaries, and on what you might see along the way, and although there is some method to the madness, those are the exact parts that will always be different for everyone, and it might lead people to think they're doing it wrong, hence the redundant posts.

      Re: "blind leading the blind"

I think it's great when people who worked hard at getting it right share THEIR insights as well. Those who either are naturals, or who have been doing it for so long that they got disconnected from how hard it was at first, though they're wise in the ways, may have more difficulty teaching it for the same reason. There's a saying that goes "Learn from the slow learner" (or something like that), the point being that if you want to get into shape, you may not want to eat like the 'natural' whose metabolism is ridiculously fast and can eat any which way.

As far as I'm aware, not everyone loses breathe during an SP. I know I lose breathe. Of course that's only what it feels like. But yeah, I could've told you that, you didn't have to go to your sister after all. Just PM me next time dude ;D

Anyways, it's creepy not feeling you are breathing, it makes a god damn impression really. That's why I don't like WILDing much.
