Wow. Crazy sleep schedule. REM dreams occur on and off through the night and increase in intensity. I would say your best bet would not be WBTB but to try MILD or , better yet, DEILD on those nights where you might awaken from a dream. |

So I have a polyphasic sleep schedule, more specifically the Dual Core schedule where I take a 3.5 hour core from 21:30 to 1:00, a 1.5 hour core from 5:00 to 6:30, and a 20 minute nap from 12:00 to 12:20. What I'm wondering is if it's possible for the second core nap to count as a WBTB, even though there's a four hour difference between the cores. If not, what would be the best way to get one? |

I actually could have had a DEILD during my 20 minute nap today before I even knew what that was. I woke up from my dream with my eyes closed and saw some crazy hypnagogic images. If I didn't have to wake up and go back to class I feel like I could have easily had a lucid dream. I'll probably try to get better at that, because I do find myself waking up halfway through my first core sleep. |
