      No LDs anymore :x

      Hello

When i first found out about Lucid Dreaming i tried it with DILD and i didnt get one in 5 Months. Then i started to do a short WBTB every night like 5-15 mins and got my first LD within the first week. After about a month i tried out Rhythm Napping. I had 4 LDs in the first night and managed to get a total of 16 LDs with an average of like 1 LD in 3 Nights. Then i started to do an internship. When i started i had no LDs for one week wich was unusual long. After that week i had 3 LDs in one Night but then i hadnt had LDs for over a Month. About 2 Weeks ago i had another LD but nothing since then. The internship is not stressfull at all everyone is nice etc. One week ago i started to sleep 8h a Night again instand of 7. Could 1h more sleep a day make such a big difference ?

Any ideas why i cant LDs anymiore or atleast not as frequent as it used to be? My techniques didnt change at all: Rcs over the day WBTB after 4,5-6h of sleep and then RN for 2-2,5h.

I hope you can understand my engl :p

1hour makes indeed a difference, but for the better, not for the worse, so it's in no way related to your lack of lucids.

Have you considered reviewing your routine? Everyone has their pace, but 1 DILD after 5 months would leave me wondering if I my method was working out for me. Lucid dream frequency can be increased with a more "assertive" focus on the technique or habits, and there might be some reasons that yours isn't as good as you'd like.
For example: have you noticed any decline on your attention to your lucid interest? You may still do reality checks and other mechanical actions, but even though the intership may not be stressful, it may be stealing attention that you would reserve to lucid dreams. It's very hard for anyone other than yourself to figure this out, but you can opt to reserve some time not to reality check, but to think about your lucid dreaming intentions and goals. Making goals (like 1 lucid before February) also helps, because they strengthen your prospective memory, increasing your chances of remembering your intent.

Sometimes it's not about the stress but more about a slight change in your mindset. Inspiration works great in these time. Good luck!

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.
