The strangest experience of my life last night...

Well, I've just started trying this WILD thing after being here for so long, sounded fun... I've only started doing it in the lsat couple days, I've had full SP, what I believe to be HI and minor tremors...But last night I had the crasiest experience ever.

Last night I was laying down listeing to a lucid mp3, as the man counts to 10, you slowly go into SP... After this he (man on the tape) tells you to listen to the rain and make a scene for yourself while he counts to 20 from 11... Usually, he goes past 20 and I'm lying there with nothing but a tired body, but last night it was VERY different. As I lay there I began to picture myself drawing numbers in the sand on the beach. I would count to about 10, and check my eyes to see if there was any HI, nothing for the most part. My body was EXTREMLY paralysed and I felt a slight tingly feeling. I was waiting for his 20 to come, as as he got close I started to draw the numbers in the sand faster, and faster. When he reached the count of 20, my body went crazy, my eyes started to go nuts, and it felt as if electricity was being shot through me. I started to shake quite badly, and I started to fear it but I knew it was all part of a WILD. I then thought of how to become part of my dream... I remember someone talking about a specter appearing through their room and bearing down on them to hurt them, I used this to my advantage. I put an image of this specter into my head and pictured him grabbing me by the feet to take me into the spectral plane, but as he pulled me I grabbed onto its arms and we were both shot through the roof. I felt this electricity everytime I tried this, but no matter how many times I tried to summon it to bring me into the dream world, I would just feel this electricity, shake, and wind up back in my bed, still with SP. At a few points, I felt as though my body was being lifted up off of the bed, but as my stomach grasped for air (on its own) I felt myself lower back down.... What happened to me last night, and how close was I...
God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...

Sounds to me like you were extremely close. I wish I could give you some pointers on how to go ahead and enter the dream from there, but unfortunately I've never had much luck with WILD.

It sucks man, The thing that I'm confused about is that most people tel you to 'grab' onto something when WILDing, but I dont know if they mean watch you HI for visions and make a picture, or THINK of a scenario....

I congratulate you, you were WILDing welcome to the club

Now, entering WILD might indeed be tricky. Important thing to remember is: go with the flow, when you feel the sensations cease or about 1 minute passed, open your eyes and look at the digital clock. Perform several RCs. A lot of WILDs start with you laying *in your bed*, exactly the same way you did during the onset. It is impossible to determine if you are in a dream or reality without a reality check.

Now, if you find yourself in reality, dont worry, just relax and wait for another WILD onset. I cant stress this enough. WILDs never come alone - they come in "chains" if you fail at one, another one will start within 1-10 minutes, depending on how excited you are.

PS: I've never heard about 'grab on to something" method. I think as a newbie it's best for you not to force WILD entry and just go with the flow....

It was quite an amazing experience, and to do it when I was first going to sleep made it all the better. In the years that I've been lding I have NEVER felt something so strange. And the thing is, I'm afraid that if I open my eyes I would lose everything, the SP, the chills/vibrations, all of it... I

The WILD onset is all in your head. It goes like this: if you focus on it and try to discover what's going on with you, it will amplify. If you will let it go, the onset's "special effects" will be pushed in the background and your WILD entry will be less intense.

It is possible for the onset to follow you in a lucid dream. In this case you will lie on your bed *in a dream* and will continue experiencing the WILD. That's why there's a certain time interval after which it is essential to perform a RC.

I had almost the same thing happen to me but it was withought the tape and just when i woke up. it seems what worked for me was to let go and let your body float up...then i blacked out and went to the dream...

Well, I can't seem to let my breathing go, and this keeps me tied to my body... Oh and btw, I had the effects ;ast night but less intense... Its strange for me because I get the electricity feeling, I feel heavy, my body is paralysed, But I'm always just laying on my bed. During the whole time I NEVER can not 'sense' my body, I always can feel myself, paralysed or not. I even opened my eyes to check a digital clock, nothing, still there.... I can not figure out for the life of me, how to get into a dream.... Although I did have some dreams during the morning in which I was half awake and half asleep, quite fun, and I knew I was dreaming

When I enter SP parts of my body go numb like my arms, legs ususally go numb but my torso and head usually keep their feeling untill I ether give up or fall asleep. The cool thing about it is since I can't feel where my arms are my mind tries to tell me where they are often making my arms feel like they're put on backwards it's a pretty odd feeling. The one time I almost WILDed (well I did but I woke myself up by accident once I realized I was dreaming) I lost consciousness right before my body became paralized then I started dreaming and regained consciousness within a few seconds after the dream started.

Thats usually the same thing with me, arms and legs are completly gone but my chest and neck stay 'awake'. Last night my chest did go numb, but as soon as I thought about breathing I took a huge breath of air. And isnt what you did a DILD?

thats awesome bro. so you were using LD2? i think thats the one where he asks you to create a scene using the rain as a backdrop to incorporate into it. (which actually does help). man the only times wild has ever worked for me was when i lost consciousness then i would suddonly be jerked back awake either into a dream or not in a dream (i think haha). once i did feel massive vibrations though. i waited for them to pass but then i didnt enter the dream right then and moved and screwed it up. latley when i try the LD1 and LD2 i flippin fall asleep and wake up an hour later. pissed of coarse haha

No, I used the LD1 because I feel it gets me a deeper SP. By the way is LD1 supposed to be like, 45 minutes long because thats what mine is and he keeps saying this tape will wake uyou up after 90 minutes of play... Well anyway, I would LOVE if someone who has had experience with this give me some advice for entering a dream from the last state I described (I am paralysed, feel massive vibrations after the count of '20', and am very relaxed)

dang it must get u further than me. its never given me full SP. just mild lockjaw and numbness in various locations. once it felt like something was pushing its way into my ears. its made my eyes rem a number of times as well. anytime it almost made me do a wild. something comes up and wakes me up or gives me diareah hahah. like an anti LD hex.

yeah apparently each mp3 is only the first half of a 2 tape set. i know it sucks but its all we have!! i guess it could work better if u cut and loop the middle to last longer. im glad u reminded me to do this. im going to make a longass mp3 maybe 120 mins and try it tonight on my mp3 player. this HAS to work. (im not high and has sounds funny as heck to me. what kind of word is HAS anyway haz has, that guys haz name is screwing me up, or maybe cuz i have LD2 playing right now)

i tried it lastnight and the low volume subliminal voice was soo loud to me it woke me up. im gonna edit it to perfection.

I guess it could have been DILD but I was trying for a WILD using LD2 MP3, all the extra talking makes it hard for me to relax. I just fell asleep for a sec. I didn't choose that scenery that I came into ether I was trying to make myself dream about something else entirely lol.
