If napping is 100% an impossibility for you, then LDs during the day are 100% an impossibility for you. Need to sleep to dream, man. |

I'm aware this probably a very stupid question, but what methods are there of LDing during the daytime? |

“For one priceless moment in the whole history of man, all of the people on this earth are truly one."
"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you."

And I thought there was a magical method for everything... |

I suppose you could work on perfecting your day dreaming: close your eyes and visualize stuff and use your imagination to imagine scenes that you would like to someday reenact in LDs when you are dreaming. How about that? That would not require actually falling asleep. |
|
The only way i can think of other than naps is to become nocturnal, but i am not sure if that will work out for you... |

Sorry, but if you can't manage a nap, there's no real way to LD during the daytime. You can always prepare for LDs during the day by reality checking and planning your goals, reciting mantras, etc., but as JoannaB said, you have to sleep to dream. Here's what I'd suggest: keep practicing LDing during the day so that you can have them at night, and if you ever do feel tired enough to fall asleep during the daytime, take advantage of that. But don't try to force yourself to sleep during the daytime when you're not tired or you'll just end up wasting your time. |
