Has anything changed last week, like your sleeping schedule and such? Dream recall is kinda chaotic value and sometimes can change for smallest reasons or even unknown reasons, even best of the best sometimes run into dream recall dry spells. If something changed last week then try changing it back, if not, just keep trying and don't worry, your recall will be back.
Also do you wake up right from/after REM? If not, you could try that, maybe mantra: "I will wake up right after dream and i will remember it" or something like that, waking up right from/after the REM gives much more clear recall, thus it's easier to recall from there.

I set my alarm to wake me up 4 to 6 hours after my bed time. I figure out when I'm more likely to be in REM sleep by using 90 min. interval. I think the problem i have is that I wake up and focus on remembering the dream by laying still and closing my eyes but i drift back to sleep. I have to work on this. Thanks for the advice
