      How Am I Doing?

      Hi everyone.

i have been working on SHILD= (self hypnosis induced lucid dreams) these two weeks.
So far i had two dreams where i knew i was lucid and that i could do whatever i wanted. But i was still driven by the dream and only "believed" i controlled my actions.

another one was about me in bed about to induce a SHILD.

I see it all as good progress but i wanted to know what some of you thought. can i truly get a real lucid dream by this? Or do i have to change some of my suggestions.

      My suggestions are as following:

"My subconscious will help me into a lucid dream"

"I am capable of having a lucid dream, lucid dreaming is easy for me"

"All of my dreams are lucid dreams i have one every night"

So please tell me what you think.

What you are doing sounds great, but tell us a little bit more about your practices.

Do you keep a dream journal, and practice Awareness/ reality checks regularly?

The fact that you are having non-lucid dreams about lucid dreaming is very promising; your mind is thinking about it, thats the first step. Now its all a matter of exercising your mind through awareness and recall, and you will be able to take control!

Let us know a bit more,

      ~Raven

Well i wake up about 3-4 times a night and by then take my time to use suggestions until i fall asleep.

I dont write any dream journals but my recall is not that bad and i can truly remember a dream after i wake up, most of it even some hours after wake up time.

It was a year since i did any real RCs and even then i only did try to pass two fingers through my palm or trying to push myself through a wall within a dream with no success.

Otherwise my awareness in real life is not that dependable.

I was simply hoping it would be possible to somewhat recognise the dream realm after having repetitive non lds, and that way have a spontaneous ld turn into a real one.
Because you´ve had several spontaneous lds that your conscious mind can finally spot the difference.

Hard to explain what i mean..
