Yes. In general, it's best to visualize something you are very familiar with. Like your kitchen, classroom, and such. Try to memorize/recall sounds, smells, how the furniture feels, room temperature and anything else you can.
But, if you are visualizing when WILDing, for the purpose of jump-start the dreaming process, just thinking about it will be good enough. At first, you will just think about it. But as you get closer to falling asleep, you may start seeing it in your minds eye and even as images. This can be of what you were thinking about, or something completely different. And that's ok too. As you get closer to being asleep, these images may start turning into a movie and take life of their own. Move and develop by themselves.
