how to get more lucid dreams?

hello i am new lucid dreamer i continuously do reality checks and maintaining dream journal as well.
i had 2 DILDs but i am expecting more lucid dreams so i think i should use more advanced technique or add mild with my current method. i want to ask you about MILD

i heard and read two types of mild the one is when we keep on repeating a mantra while going to bed and the other is when we visualize a dream getting lucid and doing what i want. which one is more effective and if you have any specific technique to do MILD or any technique .my point is tell me the technique which has more success rate for you ?

As much as I love the theories of awareness both for DILD and WILD I mostly get lucid dreams because it's the later morning.

As a beginner the easiest thing is to just set an alarm to wake you up after 6 hours of sleep (WBTB) and then do whatever you want.

You can either try to WILD or MILD, I usually just fall back to sleep though and DILD.

I don't see different induction methods as something that succeeds more than the other, I see them as different tools for different situations.

Otherwise it's sort of like using a screwdriver to hammer a nail or to use a hammer to screw a screw.

So learn about all of the basic inductions one at the time so you got more options each night.

To make it clear that it's not just one technique you stick to every night I can tell you that I practise both WBTB, DILD, MILD, WILD (DEILD) every night.

And it's far from as advanced as it might sound.

      Sweet dreams!

As Mastermind said, the techniques are just tools to get you to the end goal. You will have to experiment for yourself and find out what works for you, as everyone's different. MILD is a subset of the DILD technique, with mantras added on to drill it into your head even more that you want to Lucid Dream.

There is no easy answer to getting more lucid dreams apart from practice, and experiment, because everybody is different. It's all part of the journey and part of the fun to find out which technique works best for you!

Keep practicing and you will definitely get more lucids!
As MasterMind said, WBTB is good for lucid dreaming since one is usually more aware when going back to bed like that, so you can try that if you have time, also you can try doing naps, which help with awareness as well because of going quickly or even almost directly into REM.
As for MILD, there's not really anything so specific to it to call it 'types', you just need to set intention and the right mindset to have lucid dream and fall asleep with it, whether mantra, visualization or something else works the best varies from person to person, so experiment!

      @ Mastermind.
Heyyo. I remember you saying this before about different tools for different times and places, and it really helped me with my own technique that I am working on right now. Thanks for the advice back then. I don't think it was aimed at me back then, but it definitely sunk in. Something to remember for all of us might be that your words may seem to fall on deaf ears, but someone is always listening in.

      @Chitrarth
I would recommend reading as much as you can in the way of "what makes people lucid" each technique works for the person that put it up there so each of them has a chance of working. I would recommend looking at the similarities of the different tutorials to see what has a higher chance of making people lucid. Good luck LDing. RCing throughout the day is also consider MILD. I do visualization and mantra before sleep and each subsequent awakening, the visuals make the mantra stronger and the mantra makes the visuals more meaningful. So if you have any questions about it please ask.

thank you thank you my dear friends i enjoy your replies always. its my dream to lucid dream but unfortunately i am a student of Indian administrative services so i have to study atleast 12 hours a day and i go to coaching as well so my timings never allow me for WBTB ,i generally sleep at 2 am after studies and i sleep till 10 am so here start my problem actualy i should tell you guys my routine so you can have idea why i am so concerned about lucid dreaming.
i wake up at 10 am after freshup i have time to read about my hobby that is lucid dreaming till 12.30 then i do lunch and go to coaching everyday i come back at 3 pm and sometimes i sleep for an hour or two 5 o clock i start my studies again till 8 then do dinner and again i read about lucid dreaming till 11 then again i study till 1.45 so i sleep at 2 am daily . now if i plan for WBTB i should wake up after 5 hours that is 7 o clock which i did many times but everyone here including my neighbors wake up at 7 and it becomes really hard to do wild or anything in such noisy atmosphere and i find it hard to fall asleep .that is the only reason i am continuesly trying for wild at the time when i sleep . i figured out that i wake up twice or thrice a night naturaly so i am planning for a dield but same problem here i wake up at 3.30 am then 5 then 7 ,and before 7 no REM i think and at 7 i cant do anything
