      Counting sheep!

I can't believe I didn't make the connection earlier so this may seem obvious, but it looks like a great tool for WILD or to fall asleep quicker, yet surprisingly since I got into lucid dreaming (about 2 years) I have never once heard of this as a technique.

Just the building of the visualizations seems like it should be a good dream practice on its own.

Going to add this to one of my daily techniques. I remember trying this as a kid and becoming bored really quick.

What love to hear anyone's attempts, experiences and thoughts perhaps as to why this technique for lucid dreaming has not been around (perhaps its just me who didn't see it)

Forcing a visualization never worked for me. I think visualization may be better to practice in waking life so that it's easier to create what you want in an LD.

But then again, I never got WILD to work...so yeah.

Think of a road. An endless road. Some reason that works. Just keep driving or running or whatever. It works(though I'm a gamer so it's different).

This is actually a really good idea . I've tried WILDs where I count, and WILDs where I utilize visualization, but I probably never would have thought to combine the techniques. Maybe I can actually have a successful WILD with this.
