      Was i becoming lucid??

Last night i think i might have gotten close... my friend was over so he slept on the couch and i slept on a matress on the ground, of course this isnt confortable so i remember in my dream i could feal a weird sensation ( problably cuz i was lying on the cold floor ) and i thought " am i dreaming ? " and instantly this weird fealing came over me and i woke up very quickly.

Was i just semi awake and became fully awake ? or was i dreaming and i was so exited i woke up ?

If you questioned it, then you were right there. Next time try some trick to stay asleep. They can work even shortly after you wake up, but you have to stay completely relaxed and try to ignore your physical body; concentrate on your dream body and rub your (dream) hands together, or spin in a circle, or shout "KEEP DREAMING!" Keep trying, and you'll find one that works for you. Congrats on posing the question, though. That's a big step!

Yea, it sounds like you reached lucidity, but the next moment, you woke up. Im not sure why you woke up though since you didn't seem to be excited or had a rush. It might have been because you focued on the weird feeling and that caused you to focus on your physical body, thus waking up, but thats just a guess.
