I would advise you to take a look at this chart:
http://library.macewan.ca/lucidity/I...s/image002.jpg
This chart shows the number of lucid dreams Stephen LaBerge had per month when he attempted to increase his number of lucid dreams during his studies at Stanford University - and he was very motivated, and used MILD, recorded his dreams, practiced reality checks and so on.
The interesting thing here is that his lucid dream frequency was just the same as yours during the first 6 months, and on one occasion he "only" had one lucid dream in a whole month - but look at his frequency a couple years later.
Suddenly his frequency had increased to something around 50% on average (which is really good, when you think about it), and on month 29 (marked with C) he had lucid dreams almost every night!
You can imagine that you have just started the same journey towards very frequent lucid dreaming, and that you are now on the first months on that chart.
Also, in case you are wondering, the bars marked with A, B and C are the months when he actually practiced lucid dreaming in the laboratory and needed to have lucid dreams in order to be able to study them, and his lucid dreaming frequency clearly skyrocketed during those months.
So you can see that motivation is extremely effective and important for lucid dreaming.
Just keep practicing, there is nothing wrong with your LD frequency.
