      WILD with music...is it possible?

Last week I attempted WILD while I was listening to Ravi Shankar and saying to myself that I was dreaming...I think I felt the vibrations two times. In the last one I began to see weird figures that were moving like amebas, for an instance I thought they were figures formed by the little light that was entering my eyes, but they were closed..so I'm pretty sure about it.

WILD with music is it possible? I don't know why but music seems to make me concentrate a lot more than just closing my eyes and repeating I'm dreaming all the time.
The only certain thing about the future...is uncertainty.

With music, i cant recall my dreams, so I really dont know if it works, but it must depend on the type of music, soft=good, hard=no recall

      Hello,

Music stimulates the Right Brain and is definitely beneficial to WILDing - especially if you've tried it and experienced hypnagogic imagery.

What might be really interesting for you, since you respond so well to audio stimulants, is to listen to binaural sounds prior to WILDing with music. Or, maybe you've already tried this?

Some binauaral beats can induce Theta - so by following that sequence with music of your choice, it might be wonderful for you. In this way, your brainwaves would be in or near Theta before the music, instead of using the music to enter that state. Hence, the imagery might be much more intense for you.

I've done it a few times.

When listening to more complex music while going to sleep, I have to concentrate in the music, which helps me stayi sharper. The music might even wake you up if you're falling asleep unconsciously.

However, it might be a bit annoying when you're in the dream and the music is still playing in the background
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.

Binureal sounds, or binureal beats, are sounds that are tuned to specific frequencies, and cleverly separated into stereo in such a way that it sounds like these harmonic convergences are rushing through your head. Your own brain patteren has a tendency to sympatheticaly shift so that it more closely resembles the sound waves. Check google for a program called "Brain Wave Generator". It has a lot of presets you can use, and the registered version unlocks many more functions. You do need stereo headphones to make use of the program.
