      So Close

      So the last 3 nights I've ended up having really vivid and memorable dreams. On the first night I even had a false awakening.
      In all of these dreams at some point or another I have plugged my nose to check if it was a dream, I've realised that I can still breathe and that it is a dream, but my dream self every single time has kinda just gone: "Huh, I'm dreaming, thats cool" and the dream has just carried on as normal.

      So frustrating but then again it is probably the closest I have come so far.

      Look at it as like every time you realize you are dreaming, you make another step and another, it's great.

      Just believe next time that you would do a reality check in the dream and realize you are dreaming, try to do also stabilization techniques such as rubbing your hands or touching your surroundings, it would increase your awareness in the dream.

      I've had three to four dreams that almost turned lucid since January. I got so close and then I woke up. In one of them I started to realize I was dreaming but got excited and woke up. The other one the alarm woke me up right as I started to realize it was a dream. Dream activity for me has almost been nothing this month. Hoping for a change and actually attaining lucidity in the next week or so.

      I know it's possible. I had VERY vivid dreams as a kid and still remember one of them.
