yoshi's ADA vs puffin's SAT: are they the same thing?

Iv'e just read puffin's guide extensively and I couldn't help and notice just how similar they are: both stress awareness and de-emphisize the importance of RC's and both advice you to work in sessions(that's pretty much all I can think of right now XD).

So is this just me or they really are similar?

      Hi,

I'd suggest you going with Puffin's SAT since it's way easier than ADA yet similiar.
I myself had dive with Yoshi's ADA and it is indeed way too overhelming atleast for me and the fact that technique might be overhelming and annoying at times can make it appear less frequently in dreams than creator of tech intended it to.

And oh well, RCs can be still important even if you have handy lucid dreams with awareness techniques,
RCs conneted with Awareness are used to confirm whether your truly dreaming or not.
      Example:
      1. Thanks to practice of SAT you remember to do it every two hours. And this time during the practice your in dream.
      2. You noticed something weird and there are two ways in which this can lead you:
      - The thing that you noticed seems way too weird to be exist in real world. So you grasp the fact that your dreaming and enjoy the fun
      - The thing that you noticed seems off the place yet you do not become lucid becase you doubt whether it's dream or not, and probably you will soon ignore the sat result and go back to your dreamy non-lucid life

During such situations you should use Reality Checks as confirmation.
So instead of wondering whether your truly dreaming or not after you spotted something weird during SAT practice be it in real life or in dream world do the reality check.
You might consider doing few ones but imo doing one in reality is fine.

In dreams world doing more than one to confirm stuff might be quite userful if first one failed.
Also remember to truly belive that reality check will success and prove that your dreaming
This way you will passivly belive that your able to breathe throught closed nostrils or be it pushing finger throught palm of your hand

Start with SAT and work your way up to ADA. ADA is the goal. Or if you really really want to boost your success you can go straight to ADA and just push through the rough part of it being extremely tiring at first.
