Is being tired a mandatory symptom that happens when we are breaking rem phase (dreaming)?

      Hi Everyone

I've recently decided to experiment with FILD Technique and i've got a question
Since the technique works best when we are woken up from an active rem phase (Disrupted dream aka?).
I heard lots of times that if we wake up during active rem then we feel tired, drowsy etc.
But is this kind of sensation mandatory and happens all the time?

I've tonight setup alarm which goes from quiet to loud during time of 30 seconds so it won't shock me out of dream etc.
And i belive i woke up from active rem phase since i remember dream suddenly ending and then be woken up by alarm
Yet i didn't feel tired at all after wake up (No this drowsy or tired feeling that was suppose to appear when we disrupt dream/rem). I could fall back into sleep after few seconds - 3 minutes after alarm stopped ringing (And so i did ?)

So i ain't sure if i really woke up during rem phase since i didn't felt any drowsy or tired stuff at all
Timer woke me up after 3 - 5 hours of sleep i belive.
Since i've heard lots of times that waking up during active rem results in being tired.

      Help Would be quite great
      - Thanks

I also tried FILD out a few days. Soms nights I was sure I woke up in the middle of a rem sleep, although I didn't feel very tired either.

for me it seems to happen when someone wakes me up forcefully, like to get up and go with them.

It isn't a rule. Some people feel drowsy at all times anyway, regardless of the time they wake up at so I wouldn't worry too much about it and instead just use whatever works for you.
