      Day 1:

After 4,5 hours I woke up just before my alarm went off, I could get up this time, after a week of falling asleep after 1 minute. I stayed up for 40 minutes, then I went back to sleep, repeating my mantra.
Suddenly, I was walking in my room and was thinking "this could be a dream", did a reality check and now I was sure about it. Immediately after discovering it was a lucid, everything turned to grey and my lucid was gone, again. I've had 10 lucids, but can't pull of something longer than 4 seconds. I tried to DEILD after this, but that didn't work. I was hoping that my LD was longer ofcourse, but I'm already happy that I broke the dry spell.

      Attempts: 1
      LD: 1

Congratulations! Even if it didn't last long, each one helps.
About your lucid: Have you tried any stabilization techniques, like touching the surface of something, or shouting something like lucidity times 1000?

      Day 5

      Yet another night of success!

I continued the 'what was I just doing?' RC yesterday, along with my usual nose reality check. I was performing them once every 20 minutes or so. Last night, I went to sleep, very tired. I woke up sometime during the night to take a leak, at which point I starting thinking about lucid dreaming. I woke up again, half asleep, thinking some kind of shadow creature was trying to get me. This woke me up completely, because of the scare. I went back to sleep again, having one of the best lucids I've ever had! I had perfect control and the dream was as vivid as it could get. I'm on such a nature high right now, it feels great!

      LDs this challenge: 2

      You were right!

      Day 5:

Woke up 2 times this night and the second time I really set the intention to have a lucid dream. It resulted in a nice and long lucid dream
I stabilized, tried to fly (only got a 'moon jump') and increased clarity

      Nights: 5
      LD count: 1

Well, that's even the best part, I don't have the time for any stabilization. I know a lot about the theory behind lucid dreaming, but the long lucids just haven't appeared yet.

      Day 2:

Couldn't do WBTB due to testweek at school, I'm going to bed earlier tonight so I can do WBTB and sleep a lot .

      Attempts: 1
      LD: 1

PS, I won't stop with this challenge when I hit 30 days, I will keep doing this untill I got 30 attempts.

Unsucessfull. On top of not having a LD, I also woke up about 6 times last night. Once around 3, and the others about 10-20 minutes after each time waking up. I think that it may be my mantra that causes this because it's not the first time it happened. If anyone could tell me a good mantra to use for mild, then it would help a lot. My current one is "I will realize I'm dreaming."

What i've been using is "I am aware, I am lucid". The thing with a mild mantra is, it's more about the intention to become lucid. You pick a phrase that you can anchor your intention too.

Most of my first lucids were short, and sometimes they still are. You'll get a good long one soon! Gl man. Also once the 30 days is up, I'll probably retake the challenge again and again. It's good for motivation.
