      Not Lucid Lucid dream?

Ok guys, so this is one of my first posts

So I want some help on the subject of lucidity. I was in a dream and realized that this was not real, and so I started spinning as to stop from slipping. However, I realized I was having some trouble controlling the dream. This is the first time it has happenned and was wondering if anyone could help me out, if it was that I was not expecting it, or that I wasn't trying in the right way.

So basiclly I was trying to move a building by extending my hand towards it and trying to make it fly up in the air. To my sadness, nothing happened but when i tryed another building (as i was turning towards it) I teleported somewhere else, then I teleported to the new building and everything started melting and I woke up.

Any experience with the subject? And ideas for what I could do in a lucid dream? Anything I could do to have more control?

      Thanks
JjackGaming (look me up on youtube! )

I think you would get more help from the Dream Control Forum
That forum also has a lot of stuff relating to dream control.

Here's a Dream Control Tutorial by melanieb

What you expect to happen in a lucid dream happens.

      Good Luck!

It always worked for me to just say to myself that this is only my dream so I have fully control of it. You can always control your dream if you really want it. Just don't try too hard

Controlling expectation by brute force of will is impossible. if you don't believe something will happen trying to expect it just reaffirms to your subconscious that you don't believe it. Try to find more deliberate ways to control your dream.

There is the use of environment: Maybe try moving a building by first causing an earthquake and loosening it's foundation, or burst the water pipes underneath to propel the building upwards.

You could try the use of Archetypes: What floats upwards? can you imagine how the building is just a dense collection of dust moats, that just the slightest effort would send it gently skywards?

Play to your strengths: Are you good at flying? you could fly so fast around the building that a tornado forms, lifting it for you, Good at mind control? call legions of dream characters to carry it on their backs!

The point here is not to make it a goal to lift a building and spend nights meditating and using mantras. The idea here is to teach yourself to be flexible and to work with whats available to overcome all obstacles that you may find in your adventures.

If you are content to hone just your will there are also better ways. Seeing a task as difficult and thinking that your will must raise to meet the challenge is self defeating. If Will is your path to dream control then make it your goal to REDUCE the will necessary rather than just trying to expect it to work.
