Question Is it possible to have visualization as good as hypnagogic imagery?

Hello DV, i love to visualize stuff, specially when i'm trying to sleep or meditating
i would love to know if its possible to have a visualization similar to hypnagogic image.
As far i can only "see" with my mind, although the images are a bit dark and not expanded.
So, that's it. is it possible? if so, how can i do it? i can't seem to visualize with my eyes for some reason

Yes you certainly can. With lots and lots of practicing.

I never liked that idea either so I actually searched it up earlier today. Basically what you want to do is get in a state where your brain produces alpha waves. These are waves similar (or might even be?) to the hypnagogic state, as it stands between reality and dreams, and you can still be conscious in this state. Usually you produce beta waves in consciousness and theta waves in dreams. To get in this state, you can search up some brain wave entertainment which will naturally put you in this state. When you're producing alpha waves, your visualizations are at best. You'll be able to see very clearly, and even incorporate other senses in your visualizations. EDIT: alpha wave state is basically the hypnagogic state while retaining consciousness.

I haven't tried doing it yet, but it's probably your best chance. Hope it helps .
