First question is, how often are lucid dreams when you practice lucid dreaming first? because I just started my practice this week. But I also have autism with a Savant ability that has a lot to do with dreams.
Lucid dreaming can be very uncommon when first starting. It's dependent on the dreamer when they're first practicing it, for some their first one may come in a week, others may have their first in a month or even months. The frequency is also dependent on the person. Hopefully you'll be able to achieve some every week relatively easy!
I also want to know, are the Methods that everyone is suggesting effective? I hope to get into lucid dreaming more often.
This is also completely subjective. You're better off trying them out on your own than reading some other person's experience and judging its effectiveness solely on that. Make sure you always give each method at least a couple of weeks.
Finally, how close to real life consciousness does a lucid dream after a fair amount of practicing differ from no practicing? does it differ?
Lucid dreaming, whether you practice it or not, doesn't necessarily have to change your view on the vividness of dreams. I've had a couple of lucid dreams which felt exactly like a regular dream. Sure, you can increase the "how close it is to reality" meter up in a lucid dream, but not every lucid dream will be crystal clear.
Hope I answered your questions .
