One of my main dream signs is poor critical thinking...any mental routines to develop that, to be more critical or just being analitical everyday is enough? |

I think critical thinking in dreams is directly related to wakefulness itself. WBTB is my first suggestion. Also, intending on being lucid or some other way to seed lucidity. This will increase the chance of you subconsciously being in "dream awareness mode," which will effect both critical thinking and dream content. |

Stephen LaBerge's tips for MILD: (http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-expe...ml#post2160952
Becoming aware of the present moment is a more straight forward goal, because without the awareness of something, there is nothing on your mind to become critical of. |

IQ tests should help! Let's all do some with intermittent reality checks... |
|
Maybe when you are doing your reality checks think about what you were just doing the last 5 min, and what you are about to do the next 5 min. It's a memory thing but I think it also helps with critical thinking in that you are checking in that you are aware with your reality and the place you are at and what you are doing. In dreams this type of flow doesn't seem to make as much sense and is all over the place so it can be a give away. |

When the state of dreaming has dawned,
Do not lie in ignorance like a corpse.
Enter the natural sphere of unwavering attentiveness.
Recognise your dreams and transform illusion into luminosity.
Do not sleep like an an animal.
Do the practice which mixes sleep and reality.
Have you looked up Paul Tholey - he speaks a lot about critical thinking - interesting to see what people's views are and different folks ways to strengthen though |
