My second LD ended in about 20 seconds?

I had my second Lucid dream ever this morning, and i have no idea why but after discovering i was in a dream (i realized when i was swimming underwater and could breathe) i kept on fading in and out of my LD and the sensation of my body lying down in bed. After a about 10 seconds i ended up in a bathroom stall somehow, still lucid, trying to rub my hands together to stabilize the dream, but i couldn't feel my hands rubbing together, and then i woke up, all hazy. Anyone know what i did wrong, or maybe how i could fix this incase i have another LD anytime soon?

P.S i've a regular sleep cycle for the past week, going to bed at 12:00 PM, and waking up at around 10:00 AM every day, and i set my alarm at 4:30 AM to attempt WILD. Just incase any of that may have played a factor in this. I also don't remember when it was i had the lucid dream, but i fell asleep again after 4:30 when trying to do WILD (fail i know lol) so its pretty much anywhere between then and 10:00 AM.

It really sounds just like a stabilizing problem! Which, it's a good thing that you were trying to do that anyway--but this kind of thing tends to happen most often in the beginning. Just remember to keep calm and keep stabilizing, and in time this will get better.

at the end of every rem one gets more aware because one is near waking up and therefore at the beginning the probability for you as a beginner to get lucid will be at the end of a remphase. this will get better the further you will be with your practice and the more experienced you are. dont overthink it because you dont want to plant the seed of bad schema which tells you: "all my lucids are just 20 secs; i have stability problems; and so on" there is no schema like in mathematics you need to follow getting lucid. just enjoy the lucid and be involved in the dream then it will be stable on its own. and when you notice the dream is fading dont think you wake up sometimes you just loose visual or end up in the void but just use your other senses and stay calm and a new dream will form

      congrats to your lucid
