      21 Day WILD Challenge

      I've been inspired by Rockefeller in 21 Day MILD Challenge to take on my own challenge, but for WILD. I've always had trouble with staying consistent in WILDing, so I'm hoping this post will keep me in line. I'll start tonight by posting the day, time, and any other notes or comments I have about the WILD attempt. If any of you want to follow along and post your own progress feel free to!

      Night 1: Unsuccessful

      Went to bed at 11, aimed to WILD at 3:45.
      Alarm didn't go off for some reason, but I ended up waking up naturally around 5:30 and attempted then. I was able to relax very well and stayed motionless for about 20 minutes, but eventually fell asleep, might not have been in a good REM stage I think. I'll be going to bed earlier tonight and trying to hit attempt agin at a better REM time.

      Night 2: Unsuccessful

      Went to bed around 9:30, woke up at 3:30 for the WILD attempt. Was very tired when I woke up so I just thought screw it and went back to bed. I woke up naturally around 5 and tired again but also fell asleep rather quickly. I'm thinking I was just too tired last night, hopefully tonight I should be able to get a little more progress.

      Night 3: Some Progress

      Went to bed at 9:30, woke up at 4 naturally, and was able to get some intense vibrations going on before I got too excited and they stopped. Going to try and relax more tonight if they happen again.

      Night 4 and 5: Alarm (Phone) broke and I wasn't able to wake up naturally

      Phone is being repaired right now so I do not have access to an alarm, and I wasn't able to wake up naturally in the middle of the night so no WILD's for nights 4 and 5.

      I tried to have a wild/wbtb but it failed sadly. I woke up naturally but realized I woke up so stayed still imagining a 3 second countdown, after that, I rolled out of bed and the "noise" stopped so I thought I failed because I felt like I was awake. I went to get some water and went back to bed. The sad part is after I woke up, I remembered the attempt and that when I went to get water, I was viewing mysel in the third person :.(

      I've had my fair share of false awakenings for sure. Arguably one of the most frustrating things to happen when attempting WILD, but it's also comforting to know that you were so close and can achieve it next time.

      Night 6 and 7: Unsuccessful

      Went again without a phone and was able to wake up naturally on night 7 around 4:30 but was way too awake, actually got up and did some homework and attempted a WBTB but failed with that as well. Once I get my phone back I should be able to time my REM stages appropriately and hopefully get some results.
