      Best repeated for lucid dreams.

Anyone know anything to repeat before falling asleep which will induce lucid dreaming?
I usually use "I will know that I am dreaming upon entering a dream" or tonight all my dreams will be lucid.". Anyone know any others which work almost 99% of the time?

I haven't had a LD yet but you could try.

"I will remember to check my reality, and realise I am in a dream state."

Why sleep when you can dream?

The phrase itself isnt so important. Its the intent.

I usually think about the subject deeply or I visit lucid dreaming websites just before I sleep.

      That is so true!

The very first night after joining this forum I repeated several times: "Tonight I will dream. After the dream I will wake up. When I wake up I will remember the dream"

Normally I'm a very sound sleeper, but that night I woke exactly 4½ hours after going to bed. for a little while I thought it was just a strange coincidence, but a few nights later it happened again, 4½ hours after turning to bed.

Of course the intent is the most important. If I said to myself in the morning, "When I get home from school today I will clap three times," I wouldn't expect to actually remember to do that unless I really intended to and kept reminding myself to do it all day. Even then I would probably forget to do it.

This is why it's important to find cues in your dreams to remind you of your intent (dreamsigns), just like you'd need cues in waking life to remind you to do something.

      Hope this helps,

      D
