I am curious if WILD would work when...

... you stay up late. Seeing as I always do this, it seems pretty much the same as waking up early, then going back to bed. I drink sodas 'til 3 in the morning, so that might help.

I am curious, because I don't think I could WILD by doing the whole waking up early thing... I would just throw my clock across the room.

I have doubts about whether it would work. If you stay up late like that, you are even MORE likely to plunge into deep delta when you go to sleep. Nobody really understands the purpose of REM sleep, but it is essential to dreaming and especially WILD.

Your brain needs a few delta stages before REM really kicks in.

Course, you can always try it and let us know your experiences

I have been trying for a few nights now, but I haven't been able to remember my dreams. I'm still working on that... maybe I should get down remembering dreams first

Wow... you people never cease to amaze me, you hear about the best thing that you could ever have happen to you (LD) and you feel that it should be easy to obtain, like you could just bend it to fit your preferences.... LDing takes practice and patience, if theres ANYTHING on this planet that you should learn patience for its lucid dreaming.

      I realize that...

to be honest... I just don't want to wake up early so I can go back to sleep and have a chance at lucid dreaming.

But I'm sure I will give it a try one day.

I disagree with seeker...WILD can work if you stay up late. It worked for me last night when I slept at 4am...had around 5 WILDs. So yeah, staying up late might work for you. I dont really know how it works though...lol. You can try...
