Does this work before I go to sleep, or is it an early morning wake up technique? |

Why sleep when you can dream?
Do you like actually see images, like as good as in a dream? |

I'll try this tonight, these types of methods usually work best for me |
|
did it for about 20 minutes, no result |

I'l try this tonight. I've tried similar techniques before and I got some light patterns and sound, I could hear the red hot chilli perpers as if they were playing all around me, I could hear the bass guitar in my right ear and the electric in my left. It was cool, I felt as if my mind had sank into the pillow and left my skull behind, that was weird but cool. I think I went to sleep then and had a non-lucid. |

Recent Dream journal note : I was swallowed by some kind of sea-snake thing
I forgot to try it, but I sorta realized I do this kinda thing every night before I go to sleep. |
|
This didn't work for me aswell, I either fall asleep or just get really relaxed! |

Not really, heh. The method implies use of concentration and focus...and a lot of it. ¬¬ |

How is the changing from focusing on you body sinking, to your throat sinking supposed to induce images? |

im not really sure, but i think it has to do with what your eyes do when you begin to foces behind them, they kinda roll back or something, your focusing on relaxing something so that you dont fight the eyes movements |

I tried i just for fun last night. I did not have any intentions about actually entering a dream. After like 30 secs or somthing, this powerful shaking (i think its known from WILDs) started to happen. This normally takes at least 5 mins for me to get to. |
|
Yes i've tried it and it works..Stephen Laberge talks about this spot while doing the MILD techinqe which is pretty much what your doing but focusing on the neck. this spot on the neck I think is 1 spot of like 47 on your body that your supposed to focus on to induce lucid dreaming. the Tibeatan Budists practiced this I think |

I always do this when I fall asleep. Everytime I try to lucid, this is how I calm myself down/make my body fall asleep. Except for me, it isn't really a sinking feeling, it's more of a "set my body free" thing. |
