Just like jeX said, I have also sometimes faded into a sort like dream, but then all of a sudden my body will give a hard jerk, and I regain complete concious. Im going to try the method before going to sleep, and counting breaths, and see if I can enter as easily as I can in class. Maybe for those of us who have this class scenerio thing happen, maybe we could try recording a class that this reall truly happpens in, listen to it while going to bed, and day dream to it while relaxing. Sounds a little hillarious, but reosonable does't it. What do the rest of you think.

Hi, am kinda new here but I have experience with LD for about 2 years.

Anyways, one day after school I was trying to take a short nap. I closed my eyes and started imagining blackhole like whorl from windows media player. Soon it was all around me and I was getting further inside. Suddently my heart rate increased and with white flash my eye vision was sucked in into my body, as if i woke up from a nightmare. I was laying down in the same position as when i went to bed, and thought that i woke up, but because of previous experience with LD i realised i was Lusid. I went outside and got exited of real like sinery and what i will be doing. I super juped over the fence(7-8ft) that was all around my house and felt bungee jump like force which felt wery real. When i landed on the other side of the fence i woke up. I tried to do it again, but my excitement didn't let me.

whorl worked for me at least 4 times and was intentional, not assidental like when i go to sleep first. Other times my excitement or fear ruinded.

      Has anyone tried this?

I dunno, but I think that is still categorized as napping technique?
maybe you didn't have enough REM-dream at night and your brains tried to take what it needs? Actually I did have an interesting dream last night right after I fell asleep. It was the winter olympics in Torino the ice hockey finals, Finland-Sweden, I know we lost that match but I just couldn't accept that fate so my brains made a new match in my dreamworld... But I don't remember the results!
That I know is that the loser team will be blown in the infinite void of space, the match was held in outer space! 8)
