      Sleep time

Does the hours from which you sleep affect your dreams. Like I go to bed around 12 at night and wake up about 7 in the morning . Am I not gettting enough sleep to get the appropriate stage of REM? Is there a reason I don't remember my dreams enough. Any Advice?
As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster...

Less sleep = Less dreaming. You still get the REMs though, but the longer you sleep, the better and longer they are. And yes, sleeping longer can also help you increase recall.
