      Calea Dreams by Basement Shaman

I recently bought an bottle of a product called "Calea Dreams" it is a fluid ounce of calea z extract with other ingredients such as california poppy, artemisia capillaris, artemesia absinthium, mugwort, kava, and much much more. My questions are these...how in the hell is this going to make me feel after I take it? has anyone tried this product? it seems pretty intense, so hopefully it will work, but i just want to make sure i'm not going to poison myself or something...

I purchused some 15 x calea extract last week, though I did not get the mix. I don't think mixing herbs is very safe, unless it has been researched heavily. I am sure your mixture has been, but still...

Anyway, I made some tea with about 600 mg every night for about a week, and the effect was a slightly sleepy feeling right off, with very vivid dreams. It was well worth buying. Anyway, I have heard that taking alot of it will induce mildly hallucinogenic experiences, but I wouldn't reccommend taking that much. Anyway, hope that helps.

      Thanks...but wait!

Thanks for the response. I had another question for everyone out there as well. I also take an anti-anxiety slash anti-depressant. Does anyone know of any negative side effects that could incur if I mix my medication (Effexor XR) with calea or any other herb? does medication such as this have an effect at all on lucid dreaming?

im pretty sure anti-depressants are maoi inhibitors (which are basically the enzymes inside you that break down the chemicals in your brain)

unless you know exactly what is going to happen its a really bad idea to use maoi inhibitors with any drug (ive heard of people shroomin with maoi's and perma tripping and literally unlocking hidden abilities they should probably not have been given access to at that time)

and im not 100 percent sure your meds will be maoi inhibitors, check with your doctor or google it because its a really bad idea to use those with drugs if you dont know the exact effects, ya know.
      Why?

also, i believe it takes up to two weeks from when you stop taking MAOI inhibitors to when they are out of your system...

i've seen that mixture as well. it can't be too harmful on its own, or i'm sure they wouldn't still be selling it. although if you're unsure about combinations, check with your doctor.
maybe you'll even get to tell him/her about lucid dreaming
