Welcome to the club! I had several very short lucid dreams, but i always fail to maintain the lucid state for more than a minute or two.

It seems you woke up just after you realized you were lucid, which is a HUGE step. It really is a cool experience. Did you notice how vivid the imagery is and how you become more aware of your surroundings?

      Good luck

I can't wait to attain lucidity for the first time... Unicorn's post reminded me of how amazing it'll be. I mean, I can already recall pretty vivid dreams, but not always scene to scene. Sometimes, I forget gaps in the middle of scenes, which isn't fun. Anyways, I can't wait to explore the dreamworld consciously!

Congratulations ihadadream on your first Lucid Dream. Typically the first few LDs are short. With time and experinece they will get longer.

And remember that control and lucidity are different things. You can be lucid without any control and it is still very much a Lucid Dream.
