      Help with lucidity methods

I was wondering if there were any methods for attaining lucidity that didn't involve you waking up, then trying to lucid dream. Thanks

Yes, only the WBTB method really requires waking up in the middle of your sleep period. Check out the Tutorials section for other ideas.

Often, method like MILD and WILD will work better in conjunction with WBTB, but it isn't absolutely required. Everyone is different, and you just need to find what works best for you. However, lucid dreaming isn't an easy thing for most people, and it does require some effort. So however difficult it is for you to wake up in the middle of the night, you might want to make that effort if you really want to experience lucid dreams.

If the amount of sleep you're getting is an issue, try going to bed an hour earlier if possible.
