Yah, but, the argument is, if you can learn to reliably WILD, then you can eventuially learn to reliably stabilise and extend them. It's gonna be a long, hard road, but meh. I figure, a big payoff if I can do it right. So, WILD is my technique of choice, and I'm gonna continue slogging it out. Meh. Plus, I've had non-WILD LD's, and they're just not the same. In my DILDs, I was lucid, but everthhing was as vague as it was in my non-lucids. In my WILDs.... wow. May have been dizzy, and blurry, and dark, but... it's walking in a dream. Hard to explain. I like WILD. I'm sticking with it. I might eventually get around to MILD on the side, but WILD is my primary focus.
